The NHL makes announcement regarding the Canucks Vs. Predators game 6
The Vancouver Canucks are gearing up for a crucial Game 6 against the Nashville Predators, and the NHL has now locked in the timing for this matchup.
According to an update on the NHL website, the game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET on Friday. This timing might not be ideal for many Canucks fans, who will likely still be at work when the puck drops.
"The start time of Game 6 of the First Round Series between the Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators has been set for 7 p.m. ET on Friday, May 3, in Nashville. The game will be televised on TNT and MAX in the U.S. In Canada, the game will be on Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports." The NHL said.
Nonetheless, the scheduling makes sense logistically, as it accommodates the time zone difference with Nashville hosting the game early, while the Vegas and Dallas Game 6 will follow at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET.
The Canucks find themselves with another shot at closing out the series, despite a tough 2-1 loss in Game 5 at home. That game ended in some controversy, with Nashville's opening goal surrounded by disputed calls that left players and fans alike frustrated.
As they head into Nashville, the Canucks are looking to put those frustrations behind and clinch the series.
