In Wednesday's waiver action, both players found new homes as Adam Ruzicka and Nick DeSimone were claimed. Ruzicka is set to join the Arizona Coyotes, while DeSimone is making his way to the New Jersey Devils.
Ruzicka, 24, has been on the ice for the Flames in 39 games this season, contributing nine points (three goals, six assists), six penalty minutes, and holding a minus-eight rating.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old DeSimone has notched five points (one goal, four assists) in 23 games for the Flames and has also posted eight points in ten games for their American Hockey League affiliate.
