London Police Provide More Details About Upcoming News Conference
As details emerge about charges against five former members of Canada's 2018 World Juniors team, the organization has announced a significant update on the upcoming news conference.
Notably, London Police plans to live stream Monday's press conference across all its social media profiles.
"The London Police Service will host a media conference on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 2 p.m. [ET] to provide an update related to a sexual assault allegation involving members of the 2018 Canadian world junior hockey team.
The press conference will be available via live-stream across our social media platforms. The streaming link will be shared immediately prior to the event."
Accredited media outlets can attend in person after advance registration. London Police maintains a presence on Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring widespread access.
As reported earlier, the players�Carter Hart (Philadelphia Flyers), Dillon Dube (Calgary Flames), Michael McLeod, Cal Foote (New Jersey Devils), and Alex Formenton (formerly in Switzerland)�have expressed their intent to contest the allegations through their legal representatives.
The unfolding situation is set to be detailed during the live-streamed press conference.
