Johnny Gaudreau's widow reacts to incredible gesture from Erik Gudbranson
Johnny Gaudreau is someone who was beloved by the hockey world, although a month ago, he was killed in a horrific accident alongside his brother Matthew.
As Meredith Gaudreau reveals, Gudbranson had his two kids wearing custom Johnny Gaudreau jackets. Meredith was ecstatic to see this, and made that crystal clear. One of those things that you just love to see.
"Love these little guys."
This is one of those gestures that just speaks to the kind of impact that Johnny had on all of the people around him. He was beloved by his family and he was also beloved by his teammates. Players like Gudbranson and
Sean Monahan know first hand just how special Gaudreau was. His legacy is certainly going to live on for a very long time.
Our heart continues to go out to the Gaudreau family during this very difficult time. We cannot imagine all of the pain and hurt they must be going through amidst this awful and inconceivable tragedy. We hope that they are able to find peace and comfort from family, friends, and the hockey community.
