Gabriel Landeskog leaves Avalanche fans in awe with his injury progress (video)
Back in 2023, Gabriel Landeskog underwent surgery to get a cartilage transplant in his right knee, and he has been out of the Colorado Avalanche lineup ever since.
Overall, this is one of those injuries that is almost impossible to come back from. Once you need the cartilage replaced, it is rare to get back to where the knee was before. However, hockey players are exceptionally tough and don't seem to care about what the majority say.
Landeskog is one of those players who takes his toughness very seriously. So much so that he was recently on the ice, showcasing what he can do after over a year of recovery.
Landeskog was putting weight on his bad leg, which is certainly a good sign. In fact, fans were over the moon about what they were seeing, and let their voices be heard. Needless to say, there is a whole lot of optimism surrounding the Colorado Avalanche right now, and it is very easy to see why that would be the case.
Do you believe Landeskog will be ready in time for the NHL season? Let us know in the poll down below. Additionally, stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world.
