Tyler Bertuzzi signs new contract with another Original Six team
According to reports, Tyler Bertuzzi has agreed to a contract with the Chicago Blackhawks after talks fell apart with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Yesterday,
Max Domi signed an extension with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the afternoon, it was immediately reported that the team was also working with Tyler Bertuzzi to figure out terms on a new deal. Fast forward and itnow appears the two were unable to reach a deal and Bertuzzi will sign elsewhere.
According to the Empty Netters Podcast, Bertuzzi has agreed in terms to a 4-year deal with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Bertuzzi, 29, appeared in 80 games for the Leafs scoring 21 goals and adding 22 assists.
Bertuzzi struggled early on in the year but proved his value down the stretch, locking him up is a good thing for the team, especially under a new head coach.
According to David Pagnotta the new contract will feature an AAV or $5,500,000 per season.
