Former NHL coach Claude Julien recently joined BPM Sports host Martin Lemay for an insightful chat, touching on various topics, including the buzz around Patrice Bergeron's potential comeback and the idea of Julien taking the reins as head coach for the Ottawa Senators

While Julien expressed doubts about Bergeron's return to the ice, he found the coaching opportunity with the Senators intriguing.

"This is precisely the kind of challenge I faced during my time in Boston. The team hadn't made the playoffs for several years. I remember Patrice Bergeron had a -28 rating. Zdeno Chara was at -21. I think even Savard, with 96 points, was around a -17. My challenge was to bring the team together to play in a way that would bring us success. [...] It's a challenge that could probably be interesting with the Ottawa team," Julien shared.

Reflecting on his experience in Boston, Julien drew parallels to the potential task of transforming a struggling Ottawa team into a successful contender. With a notable coaching history, including clinching a Stanley Cup with the Bruins in 2011, Julien remains open to embracing future challenges in the NHL.
