Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew passed away last week and it has been a huge tragedy for the hockey world, as well as their beautiful family.

Throughout this time, most fans have been extremely helpful and understanding of the situation. In times like this, hockey is the last thing on people's minds. Instead, the world just wants the Gaudreau family to be okay and to find peace. Unfortunately, however, there are some people who only care about the hockey aspects and will make weird rationalizations about devastating circumstances.

This is what happened on The Sick Podcast last night. The podcast is usually hosted by beloved Montreal radio legend Tony Marinaro. However, last night's episode was hosted by Grant McCagg and Shayne Gaumond. As you can see below, the two spoke on Gaudreau's passing and how the Blue Jackets must be regretting their recent roster moves in light of what just occurred.

The podcast episode was promptly deleted and for very good reason. However, nothing is off the internet forever. Now, there are calls for a boycott on the podcast. While others simply wish to never hear from Gaumond and McCagg, ever again.

Our heart goes out to the Gaudreau family during this extremely difficult time. Hearing comments like this must be extremely difficult right now and it simply is not fair. Hopefully, people smarten up and grow a heart moving forward.

Do you believe The Sick Podcast needs to fire Grant McCagg and Shayne Gaumond? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world.
