Mike Commodore is a former NHL player who has always been known for speaking his mind and sometimes offending people with his opinions.

One person that he decided to take a swipe at recently, is none other than Patrik Laine. Weeks after Laine showed up in Montreal to receive his Canadiens gear, Commodore doubled back just so he could speak about Laine's outfit which came complete with some pants that resembled cow print.
"Folks..I meant to comment on this weeks ago..I am trying to not to sound like an old crusty prickbut in what world is it ok to show up looking like a fucking milking cow for your first look as a Montreal Canadienun vache tabarnak."
Subsequently, fans took to his comments to roast him for his hot take. Many fans even brought up the fact that Commodore used to have an infamous red afro which is what truly looked ridiculous this whole time.
Sure, others definitely agreed that Laine looked bad. However, there is no denying that Commodore is a huge hypocrite here. Of anyone who could have made a comment, he is probably the worst one to do it.
Needless to say, fans are not in love with Commodore and his criticism here. There are plenty of figures in hockey that you could go after for dressing in a bizarre way. Hockey is known for stifling individualism and creative expression. It is one of the many reasons why the NHL struggles to be as big as the NBA and the NFL. Guys like Commodore just make it worse.
Do you believe that Mike Commodore is out of his mind here? Should he apologize? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite players and teams.
