Another 14 NHL players have been placed on waivers
Overall, the NHL regular season is set to begin in just a few days which is very exciting for all of the hockey fans out there. Having said that, it is also a bit stressful for players who might be fringe NHLers.
Over the course of the last few days, we have seen dozens of players be placed on waivers. According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, 14 more players ere added to waivers today, which is always unfortunate to see. Anaheim, Colorado, Dallas, Florida, Minnesota, New York Rangers, and the Seattle Kraken all decided to place players on waivers. The Stars led the way here with a total of six players hitting the feared waiver wire.
We wish these players the best of luck in their NHL journeys. It is never easy to be placed on waivers, however, that is just how the business is. We're sure many of these players will land on their feet somewhere. Whether that be the AHL or abroad.
Are any of these names on waivers a surprise to you? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite players and teams.
