Vladimir Tarasenko Signs a New NHL Deal with a Canadian team
Vladimir Tarasenko, was one of the top name left on the NHL Free Agent market. Many were surprised that Tarasenko had remained unsigned for this long. Tonight though it was announced he has signed a short-term deal.
Tarasenko's deal is for one year, and carries a cap hit of $5 million. On his last contract he made $7.5 million for eight years. This move adds significant scoring to the Sens roster.
Taransenko is coming off of a tough season in 2022-23. He spent time between the St. Louis Blues and New York Rangers. Tarasenko had 18 goals and 50 points.
