Patrik Laine is currently on his way to the Montreal Canadiens, although new reports are talking about his time with the Winnipeg Jets.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that Laine wanted out of Columbus due to issues in the locker room. In fact, it was said that four Blue Jackets players tried to have him ousted, years ago. As it turns out, Laine wasn't exactly well-liked out in Winnipeg, either.

We say this because a new report from TVA Sports suggests that Laine was intimidated by the likes of Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele. This was an ongoing issue, and they were never able to truly get it all resolved.

"In 2021, when he moved from Winnipeg to Columbus, Laine hinted, according to the Finnish media Iltalehti, that he had felt intimidated by Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele."

Laine has had issues with his two previous franchises. If he finds new problems while playing for the Canadiens, it will certainly be a bad look. Only time will tell whether or not he can take responsibility for himself, and revitalize his career.
