Andrei Vasilevskiy is one of the best goaltenders in the entire league and when the Tampa Bay Lightning took on the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, the team was counting on him.

However, Vasilevskiy ended up having himself a truly horrendous day on the ice. He was pulled in the second period after giving up four goals. He was not looking too good and there is no doubt that players like William Nylander had his number. As a goalie, these things are going to happen. You are going to have some bad days out there. Unfortunately, because of Vasilevskiy's pre-game antics, fans were already praying for his downfall.

As you can see in the video down below, the goaltender was skating over to center ice where he would do some butterfly slides. Unfortunately, he ended up giving Morgan Rielly a massive snow shower. Rielly shook it off, but there is no doubt that the goaltender had already angered the team with that move.

In the end, the Maple Leafs won the game and it was a big win for the team considering the fact that the Lightning are one of their Atlantic Division rivals. While it might be a difficult road for the Leafs this year, they certainly have one of the best rosters in the entire NHL.

Moreover, they are still getting used to the coaching style of Craig Berube. He has instilled a new mentality with the team and it is going to be very interesting to see if the team is able to resonate and go out and play a grittier style of hockey.
