Kyle Dubas left the Toronto Maple Leafs and ended up getting a job with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Since that time, Dubas has poached two former Maple Leafs over to Pittsburgh. Firstly, he did it to Jason Spezza who is now the general manager of their farm system. Meanwhile, he also brought over Wes Clark, much to the dismay of Easton Cowan.
Now, there is some belief out there that Dubas is set to commit yet another heist on the Maple Leafs. This time around, however, it will be in the scouting department. The Maple Leafs just parted ways with Victor Carneiro who was an Amateur Scout. Interestingly enough, Carneiro joined the Leafs in 2018 when Dubas came in. They worked together with the Soo Greyhounds, so it would make sense for Dubas to bring him to Pittsburgh.
Having said all of that, there is no telling whether or not that is the right move for the team right now. Dubas might be loyal to his former Maple Leafs employees, but that doesn't mean he has to go out and hire all of them. Either way, it could prove to be an interesting development that a lot of Leafs and Penguins fans will have their eyes on.
This season, the Maple Leafs will be title contenders. Meanwhile, the Penguins are a borderline playoff team. That makes all of this interesting as Dubas now has to help rebuild his team.
