Corey Perry Gets Caught Stealing Equipment From His New Teammates
Last week, Corey Perry, a seasoned NHL forward, stepped onto the ice for his debut with the Edmonton Oilers, opting for this team after a less-than-ideal exit from the Chicago Blackhawks.
With several options on the table, it became evident this week that Perry's decision went down to the wire. Affectionately known as "The Worm," he raised some eyebrows as he was seen using gear that didn't quite belong to him.
As Perry geared up for the game, sharp-eyed observers noticed some interesting details about his equipment. Most notably, it wasn't Perry's gear at all; instead, he had borrowed items from a few of his Oilers teammates.
Perry was spotted wielding Josh Anderson's stick and donning Dylan Holloway's gloves, a moment perfectly captured in a great photo while he stood on the sidelines.
This makeshift arrangement is likely a temporary fix until Perry can get his hands on some custom-made equipment. Anticipate seeing that in the near future, now that Perry has officially inked his deal with the Oilers.
