Gabriel Landeskog claps back after fan pleads with him to retire

Overall, cartilage transplants are something that usually spells the end of a career. However, in the case of Landeskog and NBA star Lonzo Ball, there has been quite a bit of hope thanks to technological advances in the field of medicine. Landeskog hopes to return to the ice very soon as he has not played an NHL game since the early stages of 2023.

In fact, it was reported originally that Landeskog could even be back in time for the first game of the season. However, that has not been the case. Instead, his return timeline remains up in the air. Fans are getting frustrated, and on Instagram, one fan told him to retire. This led to the perfect clap back from Landeskog."

Clearly Landeskog was not there for the disrespect, and he answered accordingly. Having said that, the Avalanche have been off to a pretty bad start this season. There is no denying that they miss their captain right now and would love to have him back on the ice.

As for that fan, he probably never would have thought he would have gotten a response from the Avs captain. Either way, Landeskog is a fiery player and he is likely looking to have one of the greatest comebacks we have ever seen.
