Chicago Blackhawks Star Will Miss The Remainder Of The Year Due To Injury
In a recent report by Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago, it has been revealed that the Chicago Blackhawks will be without the services of defenseman Seth Jones for the remainder of the year, with only eleven days left in 2023.
Despite already being on the team's injured reserve, there is zero chance of Jones making a return before the New Year of 2024.
The report discloses that Jones has encountered a setback with his current injury, painting a less optimistic picture for his return to the ice in the near future. Kyle Davidson stated his injury has gotten 'much worse' following the initial report.
The situation is not looking favorable for Jones or the Blackhawks as they navigate this challenging stretch without a key player in their lineup.
Jones' placement on the injured reserve occurred just three days ago, and with the calendar quickly approaching the end of 2023, it appears that the defenseman will be sidelined for the rest of the year.
