NHL unveils key dates for the 2024-25 season
In just over a month from now, the NHL season will officially commence and the Florida Panthers will be defending their Stanley Cup championship.
According to NHL reporter David Pagnotta, there is some good news for NHL fans today. This is because the league just dropped off a calendar of some of its key events that will be taking place throughout the upcoming season.
In the tweet down below, you can see exactly what these events are. For instance, we now know when the Four Nations Face-Off will take place. We also know the trade deadline, the first day of the playoffs, and Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
"Holiday roster freeze: Dec. 20-27, 2024
NHL 4 Nations Face-Off: Feb. 10-21, 2025
Trade deadline: Fri, Mar. 7, 2025 (3pm ET)
Last day of reg-season: April 17, 2025
First day of 2025 Playoffs: April 19, 2025
Last possible day of 2025 SCF: June 23, 2025"
This should be a fun season filled with twists and turns. Only time will tell whether or not the players and the teams are able to deliver in a big way.
