Overall, it is truly hard to believe that two titans of the game have passed away under such tragic circumstances. In the wake of their deaths, numerous tributes have surfaced online and in person. For instance, a candlelight vigil took place last night in Columbus and Calgary. Furthermore, there have been plenty of social media posts from family members that showcase just how amazing the brothers truly were.
Today, Lewis Gross, the agent for Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau, wrote a letter in which he revealed just how amazing the brothers were. He noted that they never cared about the money and simply loved the game of hockey. Moreover, he noted how the two brothers loved their families immensely, and everything they did was for them.
Gross also spoke about how Gaudreau's parents, and how he appreciates them for trusting him with their two boys. It was a heartbreaking letter, although it is yet another example of just how amazing these two young men were. Their family should be very proud.
Our heart goes out to the Gaudreaus, Gross, and everyone else who has been impacted by this senseless tragedy. We hope everyone is able to get the help they need.
