Frank Seravalli has found himself in a whole lot of trouble with NHL fans thanks to his recent comments about none other than Johnny Gaudreau.

As you can see down below, Seravalli dropped a piece today for the Daily Faceoff where he made predictions for all 32 NHL teams.. His prediction for the Columbus Blue Jackets was that they would win the NHL Draft Lottery. However, his wording of the prediction was truly awful. As you can see, he tried to attribute it all "thanks" to the death of Johnny Gaudreau.
This is a truly dumb and insensitive way to go about making this kind of point and it makes Seravalli look terrible. He knows this to be true because he edited his article about three times before finally settling on a solution that did not actually make things any better for him.
As you can imagine, NHL fans have been lighting him up on social media as of late. They have gone after him completely, and they are essentially swearing off of The Daily Faceoff for the foreseeable future. This is one of those easily unavoidable controversies. However, he seems to not even care or acknowledge his wrongdoing. On social media, he has yet to comment or defend himself.
This is a learning moment for Seravalli and we hope he takes it seriously. If there is one thing for certain, it is that this kind of stuff simply is not going to fly with the NHL fanbase.
Do you believe that Frank Seravalli is one of the worst insiders out there? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to Hockey Unplugged for the latest news and updates from around the hockey world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite players and teams.
