Corey Perry makes WWE Smackdown debut and it was epic
Corey Perry is currently a member of the Edmonton Oilers and as he enters the twilight years of his career, he appears to be happier than ever.
The longtime NHL star is staying in Edmonton this Summer and he has been making sure to take in some of the events that are going down in the city. For instance, WWE Smackdown was in Edmonton, and Corey Perry was front and center for it.
In fact, in the video down below, you can see that Perry was actually a huge part of the show. At one point, he grabbed a wrestler from behind and held him so that Kevin Owens could do some damage. It was an incredible moment that had the entire arena buzzing.
It should be noted that the wrestler he held back was wearing a Florida Panthers jersey when he walked in. The man was trying to play the heel and he ended up finding out that Edmonton does not mess around. For Perry, this must have been a truly amazing experience. Only time will tell whether or not he ever tries something like this again.
